This exercise is meant for an advanced beginner skill level. For best results view in full screen mode.

VIDEO SESSION

Triads are also known as 3 part-harmony. They consist of a root, 3rd and 5th (1st, 3rd & 5th notes) of a Major scale, which is the Major triad. When you flat the 3rd, you have a minor triad. Sharping the 5th gives you an Augmented triad, and flatting the 3rd & 5th produces a diminished triad. These can be played in any key and inversion. (The root on top or in the middle) Speed control is in the gear on the lower right of the screen.  Start with the video session, when comfortable move to the sheet music.
